Welcome to the Orthodox Trucker website!
My name is Ian, also known as Orthodox Trucker. Why the name? Well because I’m an Orthodox Christian and a truck driver. Pretty simple!
Here we will take a look at Orthodox Christianity through the eyes of a trucker. I will share my general observations, reflections and thoughts about Christianity. I’ll also touch upon how God works in my life and I’ll let you in on some of the various lessons I’ve had to learn in my own life (sometimes repeatedly!) It is my hope that some of my experiences can help other people with the things they deal with throughout their everyday lives.
I am also writing a book about truck driving and Christianity. It’s a book that talks about driving on the road and the challenges that lifestyle can bring, but also explains ways to keep Christ alive in your heart and how to be a better person.
Additionally, I’m working on the Orthodox Trucker Podcast. This podcast will offer weekly episodes where I discuss in more detail those personal observations, thoughts, and general musings regarding Orthodox Christianity that I might have already touched upon on this blog.
